What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word 'leader'? Is it someone who bravely stand up when no one else want to take a stand? Someone who bring changes to the world? Or is it someone who have control over the world?
Well it could be all of the above, or more. Regardless, leaders are what makes our world the way it is now. They bring changes, chaos, opportunity, light, and darkness to the world. And if we look closely, almost everything around us is the product of these leaders and their amazing followers. Take a look at your computer, smartphone, car, paper, all of these are things that are unimaginable in the past.
What every great leaders have in common are Vision. It's important to have compassion, kindness, faith, and courage. But it's not enough. You need a vision to bring changes to the world. You need to know what kind of changes do you want to make to the world to really make it happen. And only then will you have true followers who shares those very vision and who are willing to change the world with you. They have faith in the future you're trying to make. They want to make that vision, that dream a reality. And they're willing to do their best even if you didn't told them to. These group of people is what makes a great leader different from others.
All this time you might feel like you want to change the world, but tell yourself that you're not a leader. Then let me say this, "Everyone is a leader". Every single one of us, including you. Even if you feel like you don't have any organization to lead, even a family to lead, you're still a leader of yourself. It's up to you to lead that individual. His life is for you to decide. So, "what's your vision?"
